We start November with an interview to Marta Garcia, a BeWorker who arrived at the office a few months ago 😉
Who is Marta and what does she do?: Marta is a woman from Cadiz, who studied teaching and after living 7 years in Italy, she decided change her profession and being translator. She trained, took courses and a master degree and now she works as traslator. You can find her website at this link MGG Traduce.
Describe yourself with 3 adjectives: Tenacious, hard-worker and creative.
If you were not translator, what would you have liked to do?: Architect.
Your favourite place in Málaga: Baños del Carmen
Of all the places in the world that you have visited, which one did you like or surprised more? Why?: The one I liked least but surprised me most was Dubai, because it’s a very artificial city. It’s a city made exclusively for rich people.
A place you would like to visit: Cuba, as soon as posible.
Your favorite meal: Pasta and pizza, but without gluten.
A book you liked a lot: I’m Good, by Giorgio Faletti.
A film that you would recommend to everybody: Dead Poets Society.
Your hobby: Paint and photography, it relaxes me.
Something you would like to do before die: Create a big enterprise, something important.
Do you practice any sport? Which one?: Not now. I have been ballet dancer, but I had to leave it.
How do you develop your mind?: I try to have a defined work schedule, despite being freelance, and enjoy the freetime being aware of it. Mindfulness.
