About a year ago, Marcos Lopez first came to BeWorking. He is one of the BeWorkers that has been during more time in the coworking. What does Marcos do? We tell you.
Who is Marcos López?
Marcos works in real estate sector, he is an associate agent of Remax Tandem . Remax Tandem is an international real estate network, being one of the leader companies worldwide sales. The central office of his agency is in Madrid but he decided to come to Malaga, both for professional and personal reasons. Personally Marcos, after some time working in Madrid, wanted to return to Malaga given that his family, his wife and friends live here.
As for the professional, Remax Tandem decided that it was time to expand. One of the areas chosen for that expansion was Malaga, the perfect opportunity for Marcos to return. Currently his work is shared between Malaga and Madrid, as he still maintains his customers and properties portfolio there. But when he is in Malaga this is his work office. Although he tells us that working way and rhythms of work are completely different here than in Madrid.
Why does Marcos stay at BeWorking?
Marcos is from Switzerland, a country where coworkings are nothing new. There, coworking is the most common place of work for everyone, both for companies and self-employed. So for him it is normal and prefers to work in spaces of this type. In addition for his work and his company philosophy, he must work in a shared office. “All the Remax Tandem offices have some coworking space to share with other workers. They are not typical real estate offices in which customer go inside and each agent has a table assigned. It use to be an space and you accupe the desk that is free at that moment” Marcos tells us.
What does he most like of a coworking?
He confesses that he likes all coworking aspects. Professionally Marcos since the age of 18, has been working in these types of offices. He is used to this, spaces without limitations, without schedules and with total freedom. The main problem he see in Spain with respect to other countries is that many coworkings are very limited by sectors and you can only access to them if you belong to a certain sector.
What does he think about BeWorking?
He confesses that on his first visit he did not like it, because he had an idea of more community, because this is what he usually found in the offices of Remax Tandem. But then, because of conditions, characteristics, people and situation of BeWorking, he is delighted. For example for him the issue of parking is very important. Not only that he can park here, but also for customers who come to the office. Another point in favor of BeWorking is that everyone can come here, so at the end that allows you make more collaborations.
A very interesting interview!
