The first interview of 2020 is for Jose Luis Arevalo who is in our Coworking office:
Who are you and what do you do?
I am a technician (Technical Architect) who is dedicated, through the company I work for (BAUXUS), development of construction projects, especially based on residential, commercial, rehabilitation and reform buildings.
Describe yourself with 3 adjectives:
Constant, hard-working and methodical.
Malaga’s favorite corner:
I really enjoy a good walk in the Cala del Moral area (Rincón de la Victoria) and with some more unknown coastal areas located in the Marbella area, but above all I really enjoy the gastronomic wealth of the small, inland towns. towns with intrinsic personality and monumental treasures, both architectural and natural.
Of all the places in the world that you have visited, which one did you like or surprised more? Why?:
He to say that he did not lavish me much on international trips, however he did travel a good part of the national geography, and in each place he discovered things that have fascinated me. At the national level, I would highlight the architectural wealth of many cities and towns with incredible charm, among which I can mention Granada, Seville, Toledo, Mérida, Cartagena, Tarragona, … but I love the diversity of our own land (Andalusia). At the international level I was very surprised by Portugal in general and the central area of Germany and places that could surprise me would be Canada, Argentina, Costa Rica, Croatia or Australia.
Your favorite dish:
I love food and I like, I think, everything; But I really like the national spoon dishes and Thai cuisine.
A series or film that you would recommend to everyone:
My favorite movie, The Last Mohican. One series that I love is Commissioner Montalbano’s Italian.
A book you would recommend:
Without a doubt it would be The “Pillars of the Earth” and its continuation “A World without End” but for example I would also recommend “The Doctor” or for example “The Cathedral of the Sea”.
Since I was little I have loved enjoying board games as a family. But I enjoy everything that has to do with history, especially past civilizations, world historical landmarks or knowing about the great battles and world wars. I am also fascinated by everything related to Astronomy.
Music that you listen to:
I could say that I like all kinds of music, pop, rock, ballads, also Andalusian folklore, electronic music, techno and in general any genre randomly or rather depending on the moment. I really like the music of the 80’s and 90’s, I suppose because of the nostalgia of the youth coinciding with these years.
What can you tell us about your visit to our offices in Coworking Malaga? :
Well, I spend more time in the BeWorking office than in my own home, but in all this time it has allowed me and continues to allow me to meet very interesting people, with whom I love to spend moments of conversations about our own experiences and especially fixing the problems of humanity hahaha. In summary, I feel comfortable with the BeWorkers and their leaders.
